Bonaparte Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BON) ("Bonaparte" or the "Company")
announces that it has terminated its Option Agreement with ATAC Resources Ltd.
("ATAC") whereby ATAC granted to the Company an option to earn an undivided 50%
interest in the Rosy Mineral property in the Whitehorse mining district in the
Yukon Territory.


The Company is in the process of having a geological report for the Hopper
Mineral property prepared in accordance with NI 43-101. Bonaparte has entered
into an Option Agreement with Strategic Metals Ltd., whereby Bonaparte can
acquire up to a 100% interest in the Hopper property located in the Whitehorse
mining district, Yukon Territory.
