Evrim Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE: EVM) ("Evrim" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jefferson K. Chambers, M.Sc. as Chief Geoscientist. Mr. Chambers will be instrumental in the creation, design and execution of Evrim's generative exploration programs. His initial focus will be on precious metal opportunities in Mexico.

Mr. Chambers has over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, mostly within Latin America, specializing in early-stage generative exploration. He spent 20 years with Newmont Mining as Senior Geologist, Senior Geophysicist, and Exploration Manager, Great Basin. Jeff also spent four years with Cyprus Amax Minerals as Exploration Manager in Chile where he led the team that discovered Vicuna in Chile/Argentina, and five years with USMX, where he formed part of the team that discovered Noche Buena in Mexico. Jeff holds a B.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences and a M.Sc. degree in geophysics from the University of California, Riverside. He is a member of the Society of Exploration Geologists and the Arizona Geological Society.
