Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (Montreal, QC, 5 August 2013) is pleased to announce assay results from nine auger split samples of tailings piles in the villages of La Libertad and Santo Domingo, Chontales, Nicaragua. Values in gold range from 1.47 g/t to 6.22 g/t, with values in silver ranging from 1.6 g/t to 42.2 g/t.

The nine samples reported below were taken as splits from auger hole samples from the recent tailings drilling program in the two villages. Splits were chosen based on the range of color differences in the tailings, and are being used to study the occurrence of free gold, relict sulphides, and relict gold-bearing mercury left in the tailings as a result of the gold amalgamation process in use in La Libertad and Santo Domingo. Tailings are very fine grained and homogenous, with color being the only characteristic by which tailings piles may be distinguished aside from location in either locale.

Gleneagle Resources Inc. CEO Mr. Jean Labrecque said "it is worth noting that these are reference values specifically for studies designed to understand the occurrence of metals in the tailings and whether the colour of the tailings can be used in any way to distinguish tailings piles."

The sample with the best gold/silver grade of 6.22 g/t gold and 42.2 g/t silver came from a hole at the San Gregorio target near Santo Domingo, and is described as a dark brown (with RGB values of 96/74/63). The next best sample with grades of 3.96 g/t gold and 5.65 g/t silver is described as a light tan with RGB values of 18/35/80, is the lightest in colour of all the samples, and which is the dominant colour of tailings in La Libertad. The darkest sample (described as black), with RGB values of 115/153/96 was 599801, which also showed the lowest values of gold and silver.

The recently completed auger drilling program tested 93 tailings piles in 32 areas within La Libertad and Santo Domingo. Holes ranged from 0.6m to 4.8m, with final depths frequently defined by intersecting extremely wet tailings which would cause the hole to collapse before reaching the ground surface. Some 215 samples were taken from auger drilling and have been submitted for assay; results will be reported when received.

Samples were transported from the secure storage facility in La Libertad to ISO/IEC 17025-accredited Agat Laboratories Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario by the QP. Gold content was determined using Fire Assay- Trace Gold, ICP-OES finish, while silver content was determined using Aqua Regia digestion with ICP/ICP-MS finish.
