Val-d'Or, Quebec, October 8, 2013, - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) is pleased to report that after manual stripping to expose "Vein No. 9", three of ten grab samples taken to confirm historic reports of tungsten in the vein returned 0.64%, 0.63% and 0.55%,tungsten tri-oxide.

In the "Vein No. 9", G. Dumont reported in 1951 that a 13,500 lb. (6,136 kg.) bulk sample assayed 0.45% tungsten tri-oxide and 1g/t gold. Surface exposure in old workings and historic drill hole intersections indicate that the vein is at least 450m long with widths up to 6.10m. In 1951 six holes were drilled intersecting the "Vein No. 9", and "new parallel striking veins" at vertical depths of up to 91m (300 ft.). A 1940 grab sample contained 2.72% tungsten and samples collected in 1941 assayed 2.7 to 27.5% tungsten tri-oxide (MNRQ GM files).

Tungsten analysis by multi element scan gives a partial digestion result and does not reflect an accurate grade of tungsten within a sample. Due to anomalous tungsten results in certain multi element scans of samples collected by Knick the company is re-analysing 17 samples originally performed by multi element scan by XRF method for an accurate measure of their tungsten content.

China controls approximately 80% of the market followed by the former USSR with about 8% (reference: SIDEX, Exploring for tungsten in Quebec). Typical grades for tungsten are 0.3 to 1.5% tungsten tri-oxide for veins, lower for stockworks.

Grab samples are selective by nature and are unlikely to represent the average grade of the mineralized zone.

Samples were sent to Expert Laboratory in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec for analysis.

Fire assay, multi element scan and XRF method were implemented for analysis.

Standards and blanks are submitted by Knick routinely to insure quality control.

The Chib-Kayrand Area is located in the east part of Knick's Trecesson property. The property covers most of the Trecesson Batholith which has similar characteristics to the Bourlamaque Batholith of the Val d' Or mining camp. It is located 12 km north of the town of Amos and approximately 65 km north northwest of Val d' Or. The Trecesson Gold Property is traversed by paved and all weather gravel roads making it accessible year round.
