Northfield Capital Corporation ("Northfield") (TSX VENTURE: NFD.A) is pleased to announce that it has completed the sale of its subsidiary Northfield Glass Group Inc. ("NGG") to an arms-length third party as previously announced (see press release dated September 22, 2008). Pursuant to an amended share purchase agreement dated October 17, 2008, Northfield sold NGG for an aggregate consideration of $34,000.

Northfield is an investment company with interests in the manufacturing and resource industries.
