Ryland Oil Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: RYD) is pleased to announce that at its special general meeting of shareholders held on March 12, 2009, the shareholders passed a resolution ratifying, confirming and approving the Company's Shareholder Rights Plan approved and adopted by the Company's board of directors on September 23, 2008. In addition, the shareholders also passed a resolution re-ratifying the Company's incentive stock option plan.
