Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile
marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange
(TSX-VENTURE:SPN) announced today that it has launched four new
large-scale mobile shopper marketing campaigns within the last
month.
All programs were built using SnippCheck, Snipp's unique receipt
processing solution as well as SnippWin, Snipp's comprehensive
mobile promotions platform.
According to Atul Sabharwal, CEO of Snipp, "Prominent brands
have been tapping Snipp to use its platform to drive sales in
store, increase participation and grow their marketing
databases."

mobile-based shopper marketing promotions," he said.
In the health and beauty segment, a leading brand ran a
pre-Valentine's Day offer using SnippCheck to increase sales. It
ran for two weeks ahead of Valentine's Day exclusively in Walgreens
stores. The offer was featured on a Catalina-powered coupon printed
on the back of the supermarket receipt. Shoppers were instructed to
send a picture of their receipt to SnippCheck by text message to
receive a variety of different experiential rewards tied to
Valentine's Day.
"This was a first-of-its-kind program where we used Catalina
coupons as the call to action for the promotion and the results
were very impressive," said Mr. Sabharwal.
Also in the healthy and beauty segment, a well-known brand
leveraged SnippCheck to launch a purchase-related promotion tied to
health and wellness. Shoppers have to purchase two of their
products in the same transaction and submit their receipts via text
message or email to qualify for rewards such as personal training
or a spa session. This national program, which is still in market,
has been customized to provide retailers with unique tie-ins,
thereby allowing the brand to address specific retailer needs
without launching individual campaigns for each retailer.
Snipp has continued to build on its expertise in promotions for
the wine, spirits, and beer industry. Using SnippWin, its mobile
promotions platform, Snipp is powering a giveaway promotion for a
leading liquor company. Consumers that text in the campaign keyword
are first age-gated and then provided with a registration form to
receive a branded cooler bag from the company.
Snipp also launched its first promotion in the pharmaceutical
industry for a category-leading over-the-counter pain relief brand.
Using SnippCheck, the brand is offering consumers a reward for
purchasing any of their products.
