NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:VDO)(FRANKFURT:NSV) (the "Company" or
"NEVADO") is pleased to announce that it has identified strong graphite
potential in the southern portion of its Fermont claim block, which is
favourably situated between Focus Metals' Knife Lake property (measured and
indicated resource of 4.97 Mt at 15.67% Cgr) and Standard Graphite's Carheil
property, in northeastern Quebec.

The Company discovered the presence of a large number of electromagnetic
anomalies covering the southern part of the Fermont claim block while reviewing
an MRNF survey done in 1990. Many of these anomalies are strong and
multi-kilometric in size, which are excellent indicators of the presence of
graphite-rich masses. The property's geology setting, which is similar to that
of adjoining properties with known graphite potential, is also favourable for
graphite mineralization in every respect.

Michael Curtis, NEVADO's President and CEO, stated that: "While we are still at
an early stage of exploration, this is a major achievement for the Company,
particularly as graphite is increasingly considered as a strategic element.
Because of its many uses, demand is growing fast. It is important to note that
this property, which was initially acquired for its iron potential, is currently
one of the best-positioned properties in the Fermont region in terms of graphite
potential. We will begin exploring in the coming weeks to assess the potential
of our property."
