Appearing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series are MC2 Energy Drink sponsored stock cars No. 27 Ford driven by Scott Wimmer, and No. 43 Ford driven by Scott Lagasse Jr. Beverage Plus is promoting its new products, which include three flavors of its caffeine free / sugar free herbal energy drink and two ounce shots. Beverage Plus joins the no. 27 primary sponsor G2 Gemini Custom Apparel, a Minnesota-based company, in helping team owner Baker Curb Racing achieve success on the concrete track this weekend.

According to Baker Curb, "Wimmer is a six time winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He won the 2008 Pepsi 300 at Nashville Superspeedway and has nine top-10 finishes in 12 Nationwide Series starts at the concrete track. Wimmer, a Wausau, Wisconsin native, has registered two top-10 finishes in three NASCAR Nationwide Series starts this season and has led at least one lap in each start."   After 12 consecutive starts, team no. 27 is currently in the 8th position based on owner points while car no. 43 is currently in the 21st position.
