LONDON--Severn Trent PLC (SVT.LN) Wednesday said it has been trading in line with expectations since May and that it expects to deliver a trading performance consistent with its prior guidance.

The company, which treats and provides water and removes waste water, said it is making good progress in the joint venture with United Utilities.

The company said the results for fiscal 2017 will include two months of discontinued operations for non-household retail operations and 10 months of its 50% share of the joint venture.
