Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia Corp. (NOK) said Friday it has signed agreements with Chinese Internet service providers SINA Corp. (SINA) and Tencent Holdings Ltd. (0700.HK) for integration of its Ovi Maps service on the Chinese companies' social networking services.

Under the agreement, users of SINA's microblog and Tencent's online community will be able to share their locations through Nokia mobile handsets, check in to locations, and upload location-based content such as recommendations to restaurants and shops, Nokia said.

The first services are planned to be available during the first quarter, it added.

"More than 250 million people are using a Nokia device in China and with this partnership, we can help people share their location with their friends and communities through Ovi Maps on their favorite social network," Phil Kemp, services vice president at Nokia.

The financial details of the deal weren't disclosed.
