Thresher Industries Inc. (THRR) engages in the production and sale of conventional cast aluminum and reinforced metal matrix composite aluminum alloy components for various customers and applications in the United States. It provides low volume castings, permanent molds, and low and high pressure castings. The Company also offers engineering support, design, and prototype development services. Its products are used in various applications, such as agricultural, aerospace, defense, sporting goods, first tier automotive, transportation and aftermarket automotive applications. The Company was formerly known as QUEE Corporation.

"Subsequent to a special meeting of the board of directors of THRR, it was announced this week that the proposed offer to sell the Company was approved. As previously reported, THRR received a letter of intent to buy their Company on March 9, 2010.

"Corporate attorneys for THRR have advised the board of directors that they can act on this offer without shareholder approval. The board of directors has been in contact with the major shareholders for the Company and all parties have agreed with the action of the board to consent to the sale for a price of $0.01 for all outstanding shares. This is a premium price compared to the recent trading range for the Company. The anticipated completion and closing of the deal could be as soon as April 10, 2010."
