(PINKSHEETS: VRED) -- Dr. Alan McCartney, COO of Virtual Ed Link, announced today that it received considerable interest from superintendents and other educational leaders at the New York State Council of School Superintendents' (NYSCOSS) recent Winter Institute in Albany, New York.

School leaders at the conference were interested in discussing the premise, "mass notification technology without sufficient planning, training, preparation and communication will exacerbate an already chaotic situation." School leaders that attended the Virtual Ed Link sponsored skills building workshop and stopped at the Virtual Ed Link booth were impressed with the comprehensive functionality of the Safety and Security Management System (SSMS). Dr. McCartney and Dr. Elnardo Webster (Superintendent, Roselle Borough Schools), presented a skills building workshop titled, "Enhancing Student Safety is an Interactive Process." Dr. Webster was impressed with the insight shown by those in attendance concerning the efficiency and flexibility that the SSMS would provide.

At least 15 school districts representing over 35,000 users and possible revenues of $150,000 requested on-site visits or webinars from company management. During the weeks to come we will be working to meet each and every request. In addition, two regional information center leaders representing a total of 250 school districts and approximately 40,000 users showed interest in replicating the partnership we currently have with the Northeastern Regional Information Center.
