BlackRock Enhanced Equity Yield Fund, Inc. Completes Annual Repurchase Offer

BlackRock Enhanced Equity Yield Fund, Inc. (the �Fund�) (NYSE: EEF,
CUSIP: 09256C105) announced the completion of its offer to
repurchase up to 5% of its outstanding shares of common stock from
its stockholders (the �Repurchase Offer�). Under the terms of the
Repurchase Offer, the Fund offered to repurchase up to 1,067,402
shares from stockholders at an amount per share equal to the Fund�s
net asset value per share calculated as of the close of business of
the New York Stock Exchange on June 27, 2008, fourteen days after
Friday, June 13, 2008, the Expiration Date of the Repurchase Offer.
As of June 27, 2008, 393,614 shares, or 1.84% of the Fund�s
outstanding shares, were purchased by the Fund at $14.98 per share
(subject to a repurchase fee of 2% of the net asset value per
share), the Fund�s net asset value per share determined as of 4:00
p.m. EST, Friday, June 27, 2008. The Fund is a diversified,
closed-end management investment company. The Fund�s primary
investment objective is to provide stockholders with current income
and gains. The Fund�s secondary investment objective is to provide
capital appreciation consistent with the Fund�s investment
