Wireless Matrix Corporation (TSX: WRX) (the “Corporation”), the leading provider of software and communications to improve service fleet performance metrics, today announced the results of its Annual Shareholder Meeting held on Sept. 6, 2012.

Wireless Matrix’s elected Board of Directors shall consists of seven directors, namely: Alex Washburn (Chairman), Ingelin Dropping, Arve Johansen, Bernard Maskerine, Richard Meyers, Kirsten Morbeck and Paul Nimigon. They shall each serve as a director of the Corporation until the close of the next annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation or until his or her office is earlier vacated in accordance with the by-laws of the Corporation. Mr. Ian Bonner did not stand for re-election as a director of the Corporation.

Wireless Matrix also announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Richard Myers to the newly created position of Executive Chairman. In his new role, Mr. Myers, with his over 20 years of operational, technical, and mergers and acquisitions experience spanning technology start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, will assist the Corporation in assessing its strategic alternatives, including the development of its next generation high speed satellite solution.

In addition to the election of the Board of Directors at the Annual Shareholder Meeting, Ernst and Young LLP, Chartered Accountants, were re-appointed as the auditors of the Corporation.
