The 24th Annual Baron Investment Conference drew over 5,000
Baron Funds' shareholders today at the Metropolitan Opera House at
Lincoln Center in New York City.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, made a surprise appearance and put

businesses in which the funds have invested (see below). Those
presentations were followed by remarks from Baron Capital Group
President Linda Martinson, and then a panel of Baron fund managers
who were questioned by Christopher V. Dodds, who moderated the open
session. The presentations were concluded with remarks from Ron
Baron, Baron Capital Group Chairman and CEO.
There was also entertainment provided by Alicia Keys, Tony
Bennett and Lady Gaga, Steve Martin and Martin Short, and Michael
Bublé.
"Baron Funds' shareholders spent another wonderful day learning
from our portfolio managers as well as some of the CEOs of our
highest conviction holdings, including Elon Musk," said Mr. Baron.
