to Steer the Expansion of the World’s First Autonomous AI for
Digital Marketing
Albert Technologies, LTD. (AIM: ALB.L), the
world’s first and only fully autonomous AI-as-a-service platform
for marketers, today announced two new independent member
appointments to its board of directors. The board has appointed
Lisa Gordon, former Chief Operating Officer of Yattendon Group Plc
as chairwoman; and Robert Norman, the former Global Digital Officer
of GroupM as director. Gordon was appointed chairwoman following
the retirement of former Orange UK CEO John Allwood. With these
changes, the Albert Technologies board consists of six members,
four of whom are independent.
Gordon co-founded and acted as Corporate Development Director of
Local World, a large media network focused on regional news via
online and print titles in the UK. She was appointed to Albert’s
board as independent non-executive director in June 2015 and served
more than three years before being appointed Chairwoman.
Norman additionally brings significant industry experience to
the Board, having spent 31 years at companies within the WPP media
agency network. He will be key to guiding the growth of Albert’s
ongoing agency partnership program.
Gordon and Norman, along with the other experienced and
influential business leaders on the Albert Technologies board, will
lead Albert into its next phase of growth. The new board of
directors will specifically be charged with overseeing the
following key company priorities:
- establishing Albert as the first
marketing AI-as-a-Service platform, providing global consumer
brands a cutting-edge solution for autonomous, cross-channel,
digital campaign orchestration accompanied by strategic
services;
- growing Albert’s partnerships with
global consultancies and agencies;
- expanding the company’s direct sales
and marketing activities in support of continued growth.
“Lisa and Rob bring broad experience and highly nuanced
expertise to Albert’s board of directors,” said Or Shani, Founder
and CEO of Albert. “Lisa’s three-year tenure on Albert’s board and
two decades of industry expertise, combined with Rob’s three
decades of experience within the WPP media agency network,
introduce not only sophisticated insights to the board, but also an
ability to action this knowledge for growth. This provides us a
significant advantage as we continue to educate the market on this
innovation that solves the biggest challenges today’s digital
marketers face.”
Gordon’s experience spans media’s evolution from print to online
and will provide invaluable insight as the industry seeks to bridge
agencies and emerging technologies.
In 2015, her company, Local World, was acquired by Trinity
Mirror Plc. She was appointed to Albert Technologies’ board the
same year. Gordon previously served on the board of Chrysalis Group
plc, as Corporate Development Director, and latterly CEO of
Chrysalis New Media.
Norman retired as Global Chief Digital Officer of GroupM in
December 2017 and continues to act as a Senior Advisor to GroupM
following his retirement.
Albert’s board of directors additionally includes Or Shani, CEO
of Albert; Meir Moshe, the former Chief Financial Officer of
Radware; Yoram Freund, CFO of Albert and former VP of Finance of
Radware; and Barak Saloman, the Founding Partner of Q3P.
