BAE Systems PLC (BA.LN) said Tuesday that Tom Arseneault will succeed Jerry DeMuro as chief executive of its U.S. division next year.

Mr. Arseneault, who is currently president and chief operating officer of BAE Systems Inc., will take up his new role on April 1, the FTSE 100-listed defense group said.

Mr. DeMuro will step down from the role of CEO on March 31 and take up the role of executive vice president until the end of the year, when he will retire, BAE said.
