--Volkswagen AG plans to produce 570,000 vehicles at its main site in Wolfsburg, Germany, in the new year, up from around 400,000 in 2021, the head of the works council said in an interview with the local Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung.

--The works council chairwoman, Daniela Cavallo, told the newspaper that next year will be another difficult one, also considering the risks related to the continued semiconductor crisis.
