FORM 10-QSB
FOR THE QUARTERLY PERIOD ENDED September 30, 2007

PART I - FINANCIAL INFORMATION

The Registrant falls within the provisions of Rule 13a - 13 (c) (2) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as amended, and claims exemption thereunder from the requirement to file Part I.

Item 3. Controls and Procedures

As of the end of the period covered by this report, the registrant carried out an evaluation, under the supervision and with the participation of the registrant's management, including the registrant's principal executive officer and principal financial officer, of the effectiveness of the design and operation of the registrant's disclosure controls and procedures pursuant to Exchange Act Rule 13a-15. Based upon that evaluation, the principal executive officer and principal financial officer concluded that the registrant's disclosure controls and procedures are effective in timely alerting them to material information relating to the registrant required to be included in the registrant's periodic SEC filings.

During the fiscal quarter, there was no change in our internal control over financial reporting (as defined in Rule 13a-15(f) under the Exchange Act) that has materially affected, or is reasonably likely to materially affect our internal control over financial reporting.

PART II - OTHER INFORMATION

Registrants Englemine Forest, California Tree Farm #2611 was severely damaged by the 65,000 acre Moonlight Fire on the Plumas National Forest between September 3rd and the 15th. A salvage timber harvest of dead and dying trees will begin on Registrants property within three weeks. Our mineral lessee, Sheffield Resources Ltd contractors drill rig, water truck and trailer survived the fire because of forest thinning by Registrant on its property. Drilling resumed at the Engels Mine copper prospect on September 14th.

Item 6. Exhibits and Reports on Form 8-K.
