On May 16, 2011, Whitney Holding Corporation, a Louisiana corporation (the Company) notified its shareholders
that, effective as of the close of business on May 20, 2011, Hancock Bank, a Mississippi banking corporation, will serve as registrar, transfer agent and paying agent for the Company, replacing American Stock Transfer & Trust Company,
LLC.
A copy of the letter to shareholders is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
