Bengal Energy Announces Executive Appointment

Bengal Energy Ltd. (TSX:BNG) (“Bengal” or the
“Company”) announces the appointment of Mr. Matthew Moorman as
Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company, effective today
January 2, 2018.
Mr. Moorman brings 20 years of senior financial
experience in the energy sector to Bengal, along with extensive
domestic and international capital market experience and a strong
background in public financial reporting, corporate governance,
M&A and tax planning. Previously, Mr. Moorman served as
CFO for Green Life Can Corp., a private start-up oil and gas
company. Prior thereto, he held the position of CFO at a
publicly traded international oil and gas drilling company as well
as VP Finance and Treasurer for Provident Energy Ltd. Mr.
Moorman has been a CPA, CMA since 1987 and received his MBA from
the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management in
1996.
