Delta Connection Carrier Comair to Begin Non-Stop Jet Service
Between Lexington, Ky., and Washington, D.C. Central Kentucky
residents gain convenient access to nation's capital; special $99
introductory fare offered LEXINGTON, Ky., April 23 /PRNewswire/ --
Delta Connection will offer customers the convenience of nonstop
jet service between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and
Lexington, Ky., effective June 15, 2004. Delta Connection carrier
Comair will operate one daily round trip flights between
Washington, D.C., (DCA) and Blue Grass Airport (LEX) using the
Bombardier CRJ regional jet. "Non-stop jet service to our nation's
capital is in very high demand and we look forward to offering this
important link to our customers in Lexington and central Kentucky,"
said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer, Delta
Connection Inc. "We also are very grateful to the government,
business and civic officials who represent the Lexington region for
supporting this service and helping make it available to central
Kentucky citizens." Delta and Delta Connection are celebrating the
start of this new service with a special $99 each way introductory
fare (round-trip purchase required). This special fare is available
for purchase until May 5, 2004, for travel on Delta's connecting
and direct flights between June 1 and Aug. 31, 2004. Travel must be
between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Lexington,
Ky. A seven-day advance round-trip purchase is required. Some

Known for its convenience, comfort and speed, the CRJ carries
passengers in a two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is an
aisle or window, with no middle seats. The plane can cruise at a
speed of 530 mph at altitudes as high as 41,000 feet and is
recognized as the quietest commercial jet aircraft in the world.
Delta Connection carriers include Delta's wholly owned subsidiaries
Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair, additional regional
carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest
Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California).
Delta Connection carriers operate more than 380 regional jets

Restrictions: Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and
fares may not be available on all flights or in all markets.
Tickets: Fare shown is one-way and requires a round-trip purchase.
Tickets must be purchased on or before May 5, 2004. Except for
tickets purchased on delta.com , ticketing must be completed by
midnight 1 day after the reservations are confirmed or at least 7
days prior departure whichever occurs first, but no later than May
5, 2004. See delta.com for online ticket purchase requirements and
restrictions. Travel Period: Travel may commence no sooner than
Jun. 1,2004. All travel must be completed by Aug. 31, 2004.
Blackout Dates: Travel is not permitted Jul. 2/5, 2004. Fare
Validity: Fare is valid in the Economy (Coach) cabin on flights
to/from DCA airport only. Minimum Stay: None. Maximum Stay: None.
Cancellations/Refunds/Changes: Fare is nonrefundable. Delta may
permit you to apply a portion of the fare value to future travel
upon payment of applicable fees and fare difference, otherwise the

for details. Taxes/Fees: Fare does not include a $3.10 Federal
Excise Tax which will be imposed on each flight segment in the
passenger's ticketed itinerary. A flight segment is defined as a
