Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. Reports April 2004 Traffic CHEYENNE, Wyo., May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of April. Scheduled service generated 9,807,368 revenue passenger miles (RPM's), a 15.9 percent increase from the same month last year. Available seat miles (ASM's) decreased 3.2 percent to 25,660,446. As a result, load factor increased 6.3 points to 38.2 percent. Passengers carried increased 13.8 percent to 35,158 when compared with April 2003. For the four months ending April 30, 2004 compared to the same four month period in 2003, revenue passenger miles (RPM's) increased 26.2 percent to 42,548,228 while available seat miles (ASM's) increased 5.7 percent to 111,804,693, resulting in a load factor of 38.1 percent for the year 2004 compared to 31.9 percent for the same four month period in 2003. The company carried 151,726 revenue passengers for the four month period ending April 30, 2004, a 21.7 percent increase on a year over year basis.
