Delta Air Lines to Launch Service to Maui, Hawaii from Salt Lake
City Airline Offers Fare Sale to Celebrate New Service to Popular
Leisure Destination SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Delta
customers now have more access to more of Hawaii with new daily,
non-stop service from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to
the lush resorts on the island of Maui (Kahului), starting May 1.
The additional flight from Delta's third-largest hub will
complement existing service between Los Angeles and Maui and will
be flown using Boeing 767-400 aircraft. "This new flight is a
response to customer demand for additional non-stop service to
Hawaii from our hubs," said Doug Blissit, Delta's vice president of
Network Analysis. "It also provides a new Hawaiian destination for
our customers in Salt Lake City or customers connecting through
Salt Lake City. Our current service between Salt Lake City and
Honolulu has been very popular and we expect this new flight to be
popular as well." To celebrate the new service, Delta is offering
special Web sale fares on delta.com to Maui from Salt Lake City and
other U.S. markets starting as low as $598 round trip from Salt
Lake City and $698 round trip from cities connecting through Salt

addition to the new service announced today, Delta also serves
Honolulu from Atlanta, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and
San Francisco, as well as serving Maui from Los Angeles. As of May
1, the carrier will offer nine daily flights between Hawaii and the
