MGM Studios Promotes Judith A. Jecmen to Senior Vice President,
Legal Finance LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MGM
Studios, a unit of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. (NYSE:MGM), has
promoted Judith A. Jecmen to senior vice president, legal finance,
announced Jonathan Bader, the studio's executive vice president of
business affairs. (Logo:

an integral member of the business affairs team," said Bader, to
whom Jecmen reports. "She is incredibly versatile. She has the
unique ability to handle the most complicated financing
transactions, as well as an array of our other production and
development deals." Jecmen joined MGM Studios in 2001 as director
of business affairs, and was promoted in 2002 to vice president,
legal finance. She previously served as vice president, business
affairs for DeLaurentiis Entertainment Ltd. and Cinetel Films; as
general counsel at Producers Sales Organization; and as an attorney
with Warner Bros. International. She also worked in private
practice with law firms in New York, Texas and Mississippi,
specializing in mergers and acquisitions, venture-capital financing
and entertainment law. She has written numerous articles on
entertainment law for publications such as "The Business of Film."
Jecmen received a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University
Law Center, and a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English and French
from the University of Dayton. She also received a Certificat de
Francais from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Jecmen is
a member of the American Bar Association, its Intellectual Property
Law Section and its Entertainment and Sports Industries Forum. She
is admitted before the bar in California, New York, Mississippi and
