Running on IBM eServer BladeCenter, this release delivers up to 500 sessions per blade and up to 7,000 sessions in a 7U chassis. The new release is also available in a NEBS-compliant version. In addition, the new release supports an optional TDM interface, which extends IP media services to PSTN networks. With the availability of these new server hardware platforms, customers can deploy systems that scale from very small to very large all on a common media server.
