Song Unveils Latest Creations for On-Board Menu From Chef Dave
Lieberman Author and Food Network Chef Is Song's Newest Executive
Food Consultant NEW YORK, May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Song(R), Delta Air
Lines' high-style, low-fare air service, has unveiled the newest
creations for its on-board menu, developed by Dave Lieberman who is
their newest executive food consultant. Lieberman, star of the new
Food Network show Good Deal with Dave Lieberman, and author of
Hyperion Books' YOUNG & HUNGRY: More than 100 Recipes for
Cooking Fresh and Affordable Food for Everyone, has created seven
new selections that will be available on Song's menu, May through
July. "I'm very excited to be working with Song to create a variety
of original healthy and delicious on-board food choices," said Chef
Dave Lieberman. "My goal is to teach people how to prepare high
quality recipes, all at reasonable cost, which mirrors Song's goal
to provide a high style experience at low fares. I think we're a
great fit." The items Lieberman has created for Song's newest menu
offerings reflect Song's commitment to provide healthy, organic
choices. "Song's popular in-flight menu offers a wide range of
fresh, healthy and delicious food options at a great value," said

tasty food choices at a reasonable cost." The new breakfast, lunch
and "later" entree items, plus a new snack item include: *
Breakfast -- Whole Wheat Croissant with Breakfast Egg Salad: served
with smoked bacon and sliced tomato. * Lunch & Later - Featured
Sandwich: Honey Ham on Pretzel Roll: Swiss cheese, green leaf
lettuce and honey mustard. - Featured Salad: Greek Salad with Feta
Cheese: Feta cheese, olives, cucumber, diced tomatoes and fresh
basil tossed with Earthbound Farm organic spinach and romaine
lettuce and served with Newman's Own Parmesan and Roasted Garlic
dressing. - Featured Song "Signature" for May: Grilled Balsamic
Chicken Breast: served with curried couscous salad with cranberries
and walnuts. * Snack -- Asian Fusion Crunch: this new snack item
features wasabi peas, Thai almonds, blanched almonds and sesame
cashews, produced and packaged by Natursouce of Montreal, Canada.
Dave Lieberman's Song "Signature" for June is Grilled Asian Chicken
Breast, served with crispy slaw and Forbidden Rice Salad, while
July features Spinach Quiche with Smoked Salmon served with a
mesclun lettuce medley, grape tomatoes and Lite ranch dressing.
Song also recently announced an exclusive partnership with
nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber to enhance its in-flight
offerings, including a branded signature cocktail service, the
latest addition to Song's wide array of on-board offerings. The
newly-branded signature beverage service will feature new cocktails
created for Song by Rande Gerber, in addition to Song's current
beverage offerings which include sodas, water, wine, beer, coffee
and tea. It will also feature newly-branded glasses, cocktail
shakers and accessories, all designed in partnership with Rande
Gerber. Song and Gerber will unveil the new signature cocktail
service, complete with new branding and design, on all Song flights
beginning in late summer. About Song Song, Delta's award-winning,
low-fare air service, provides non-stop flights between major
cities in the Northeast and Florida destinations as well as Los
Angeles, Las Vegas, San Juan and Nassau. Song currently operates a
fleet of Boeing 757s with 199 all-leather, all-coach seats. Song
will complete the addition of 34 new flights from JFK to San
Francisco, Seattle, San Juan and Aruba by September 2, 2005. All
Song aircraft are equipped with personal video monitors at each
seat, offering a wide array of entertainment features -- accessible
via touch-screen technology -- including: live, DISH Network
television; movies on-demand; MP3 programming from more than 1,600
songs and 11 video games. Song also offers a complete on-board food
menu featuring healthful, organic food options and a few
indulgences, including Song's newly branded signature cocktails.
