BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- E & E was recently awarded a $770,000 contract to prepare a resource management plan (RMP) for this national monument, located near Cortez, Colorado. The monument is home to an estimated 5,000+ archaeologically sensitive areas and is said to contain the highest density of archaeological sites in the nation. It will address key issues and resources including cultural, oil and gas, recreational use, range management, rare plant and wildlife species, paleontological, soil and water, air quality, livestock, transportation, and consultation with Native Americans.
