Denver Airline Donates 500,000 Miles to the Denver Red Cross to
Kick-Off Mileage Drive DENVER, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In
an on-going effort to support the victims of the Hurricane Katrina
disaster, Frontier has established a simple way for its
EarlyReturns frequent flyers to donate their miles to the American
Red Cross. The miles can then be used to transport not only the
support staff and team members of the Red Cross, but also victims
of Katrina and their family members in need. In a show of support
for the efforts of the Red Cross, Frontier donated an initial
500,000 miles to seed the program with miles that can be used
immediately. Frontier frequent flyers can add to that initial
donation by simply sending an email to , indicating their name,
frequent flyer number and the amount of miles they would like to
donate. Like many concerned citizens around the country, Frontier
and its employees immediately began seeking ways to assist in the
Gulf Coast relief efforts. In addition to the mileage program,
Frontier's efforts to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina
includes: * Frontier and the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA) are coordinating in an effort to send relief flights to the
Gulf Coast to transport victims from the disaster area to shelters
in Texas and other areas. Frontier is providing the aircraft and
fuel while its pilots, flight attendants, mechanics and ground crew
are donating their time to assist in this effort. * Frontier
donated 20 round trip tickets for a Rocky Mountain PBS donation
drive that is taking place Friday, September 2 at 7:30 PM. The
tickets will be used as incentives to generate large dollar
donations for the drive. * Frontier is coordinating with Volunteers
of America in Denver to transport people from Houston to Denver.
Volunteers of America has the housing ready as well as furniture
and food. * Frontier's employee hardship assistance program, The
HOPE League, is currently collecting funds to assist hurricane
victims. * Frontier is encouraging all employees to donate to one
of two organizations that clearly need financial support-American
Red Cross and Volunteers of America. About Frontier Currently in
