Timco Aviation Services, Inc. Establishes Record Date for Proposed Rights Offering

GREENSBORO, N.C., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TIMCO Aviation
Services, Inc. (OTC:TMAS) (BULLETIN BOARD: TMAS) today announced
that the record date of its previously announced rights offering is
today at 5:00 pm (New York City time). In the rights offering,
holders of the Company's common stock as of the record date will
receive the right to purchase 1.5 new shares of the Company's
post-reverse split common stock for each post-reverse split share
of common stock (40 pre-reverse split shares) held by such
stockholder for a subscription price of $4.80 per share ($0.12 per
pre-reverse split share). There can be no assurance that the rights
offering will be completed. The price of the Company's common stock
at the close of business today was $0.13 per share. The Company
also announced that it has filed an amendment to its previously
filed registration statement relating to the proposed rights
offering. The Company expects to commence the rights offering
immediately upon the effectiveness with the SEC of its registration
statement. However, until the Company's registration statement
