Chrome Carbook(R) now available to MADC members in French and
English versions PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Chrome Systems Inc. today announced the availability of a Canadian
version of Chrome Carbook(R), the market-leading vehicle
configuration tool, through the Montreal Automobile Dealers
Corporation website in collaboration with 20-20 Technologies Inc.
Auto dealers in Canada now have the opportunity to benefit from the
tool used by thousands of dealers in the U.S. to attract and
capture Internet leads for their dealerships. Chrome Carbook is a
consumer-facing, web-based tool for configuring, researching,
pricing and requesting vehicles on a dealer website. Using Chrome
Carbook enables dealers to capture more Internet leads, provide
valuable research content for shoppers, drive site traffic, and
control which vehicles or retail pricing to display. Online
shoppers can build and compare vehicles on the dealer's website,
send a request for a quote directly to that dealer, and then print
their configured vehicle's specs and price to bring with them to
the showroom. "We're extremely pleased to offer Chrome Carbook to
our partners in Canada," said Peter Batten, General Manager of
Chrome. "We've been delivering vehicle data to the Canadian market
through various channels for some time, but this is the first time
we've offered our website configurator to a dealer association
outside of the United States. We're glad to make it easier for
buyers and sellers in Canada to transact business, and look forward
to future product enhancements." The Canadian version of Chrome
Carbook includes data and content in both French and English to fit
the needs of the Canadian online auto shopper. Chrome Carbook will
be accessible to MADC dealer members as a resource initially
through http://www.ccam.qc.ca/ and is also available for purchase
for individual dealer websites as a lead generating tool. 20-20
Technologies Inc. will act as a reseller for Chrome Carbook and
will provide design and customization services for dealers to
ensure the tool fits seamlessly with a dealership website's look
and feel. Chrome's experience in Canada spans several years. The
company currently sells a Canadian version of its desktop-based
vehicle pricing and ordering tool, PC Carbook(R), has provided the
data in the Reynolds & Reynolds sales solution for Canadian
dealers, and recently it announced business deals with Suzuki
Canada and Canadian Black Book. The Canadian version of Chrome
Carbook is available for immediate ordering through 20-20
Technologies Inc. Contact: (514) 332-4112 ext. 491; stefan.st- .
