CHEYENNE, Wyo., April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Great Lakes
Aviation, Ltd. (OTC:GLUX) (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced
preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of March 2006.
Scheduled service generated 10,710,000 revenue passenger miles
(RPM's), a 3.8 percent increase from the same month last year.
Available seat miles (ASM's) increased 0.5 percent to 24,139,000.
As a result, load factor increased 1.4 points to 44.37 percent.
Passengers carried increased 6.6 percent to 40,961 when compared to
March 2005. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
increased 18.7 percent from 24.67 cents to 29.28 cents. For the
three months ending March 31, 2006 compared to the same three month
period in 2005, revenue passenger miles (RPM's) increased 6.4
percent to 29,946,000 and available seat miles (ASM's) increased
6.7 percent to 70,584,000, resulting in a load factor of 42.43
percent for the year 2006 effecting a decrease in load factor of
0.1 points compared to the same three month period in 2005. The
company carried 113,957 revenue passengers for the three month
period ending March 31, 2006, an 8.9 percent increase from the
prior year. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
increased 15.4 percent from 24.06 cents to 27.77 cents on a

scheduled at three hubs, with 142 flights at Denver, 8 flights at
Albuquerque, and 20 flights at Phoenix. All scheduled flights are
operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in
conjunction with code-share agreements with United Airlines and
Frontier Airlines at the Denver International Airport and Phoenix
