NEW YORK, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Moscow CableCom Corp.
(NASDAQ:MOCC) today announced that the Audit Committee of its Board
of Directors has appointed Ernst & Young LLC to serve as its
new independent registered public accounting firm. The Company also
announced that ZAO PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit ("PwC") had
declined to stand for reappointment to serve as the Company's
independent registered public accounting firm. The Company noted
that there have been no disagreements with PwC on any matter of
accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure,
or auditing scope or procedure, as more fully described in the
Company's Current Report on Form 8-K filed yesterday with the
Securities and Exchange Commission, and that PwC's reports on the
Company's consolidated financial statements for the year ended
December 31, 2005 and the ten month transition period ended
December 31, 2004 did not contain an adverse opinion or a
disclaimer of opinion and were not qualified or modified as to
