CHEYENNE, Wyo., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Great Lakes
Aviation, Ltd. (OTC:GLUX) (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced
preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of August 2007.
Scheduled service generated 15,202,000 revenue passenger miles
(RPM's), a 22.5 percent increase from the same month last year.
Available seat miles (ASM's) increased 14.7 percent to 29,302,000.
As a result, load factor increased 3.3 points to 51.88 percent.
Passengers carried increased 16.4 percent to 55,710 when compared
to August 2006. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
decreased 0.2 percent from 31.39 cents to 31.33 cents. For the
eight months ending August 31, 2007 compared to the same eight
month period in 2006, revenue passenger miles (RPM's) increased
18.3 percent to 103,711,000 and available seat miles (ASM's)
increased 8.6 percent to 208,991,000, resulting in a load factor of
49.62 percent for the year 2007 effecting an increase in load
factor of 4.1 points compared to the same eight month period in
2006. The company carried 381,332 revenue passengers for the eight
month period ending August 31, 2007, a 13.7 percent increase from
the prior year. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM)
increased 0.4 percent from 29.62 cents to 29.75 cents on a

Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 40 airports
in nine states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and
Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners. A total of 216 weekday
flights are mostly scheduled at three hubs, with 152 flights at
Denver, 8 flights at Albuquerque, and 20 flights at Phoenix. All
scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines
marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with
United Airlines and Frontier Airlines at the Denver International
Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport hubs.
