Western Minerals Group Ltd. ("GWMG" or the "Company") (TSX.V: GWG /

earth-based metal alloys and high purity metals with a low cost,
high-grade critical rare earth asset, today announced a stock
option grant for Thomas G. Mair,
Vice President of Finance and CFO, who was recently appointed on
July 8, 2013.
GWMG has granted Mr. Mair 750,000 options to acquire common
shares of the Company. The options are exercisable into common
shares of the Company at a price of $0.12 per share for a period of five years from
the date of grant and will vest in accordance with the Company's
stock option plan.
