The Chilean peso that slumped to near a 2-week low of 553.95 against the US dollar just ahead of commencing the North American trading on Tuesday recouped some of its losses shortly. The domestic unit drifted higher to 553.25 against the greenback by 8:45 am ET, compared to 553.75 hit late New York Monday. The dollar-Chilean peso pair is presently quoted at 553.65.
