GOLF CLUB HOLDINGS PLC 
(" THE COMPANY")


The directors of the Company are pleased to announce that the resolutions put
to shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting held today were all duly
passed.  Accordingly, the subscription by SportsAssets (International) Limited
for new shares in the Company and the purchase by the Company of all its
outstanding preference shares are expected to be completed tomorrow, 19
September 2000.

The offer by SportsAssets (International) Limited for the Company is also
expected to be declared unconditional in all respects tomorrow, 19 September
2000

It is expected that the 14,956,713 new ordinary shares being issued pursuant
to the subscription and related proposals will be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market with effect from Tuesday 19 September 2000.
