           Startup Station plc ("the Company" or "Startup Station")


                        Appointment of General Manager

On 10th April 2001 the Company announced that Mr Masoud Alikhani was appointed
the acting Chairman until new Board appointments are made. In seeking new
management, the Company will be appointing new members to the Board as well as
other staff to implement plans to further develop its business.


Startup Station announce today that Mr Marc Hirschowitz has accepted the
position of General Manager for the Company.


Marc has joined the Company to provide strategic management and operational
support and to further develop the business in light of changes that have
recently taken place.


In the past number of years, Marc has been involved in a business development
role for both private and public companies. Marc holds a Masters degree in
Management Science and he is also a member of the Institute of Management.
