The board of Conister Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Gareth
Alan Jones, BSc, ACIB, MBA as an Executive Director with effect from 31 March
2003.

Mr Jones, aged 34, has had a career which has spanned 13 years in retail and
corporate banking, both in the UK and overseas. As well as traditional banking
experience with National Westminster Bank, he has held roles in investor
relations and e-commerce, and has specialised in project management. Former
positions include a senior consultancy role with iXL and with Standard Chartered
Bank. He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services, a graduate in
chemistry and holds an MBA from London Business School. He is Manx resident.

There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required under
paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
