#2,072,035 81/4 per cent.  Unsecured Loan Stock 2002/2007

Bampton Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Daejan Holding PLC, announces that it
has today redeemed all of the outstanding 81/4 per cent. unsecured loan stock,
in accordance with the provisions of the Trust Deed.  Stockholders can expect to
receive entitlements under the redemption by 7 April 2003.
