Resurge PLC ("Resurge" or the "Company") announces that between 23 July 2003 and 
30 July 2003 it purchased Contracts for Difference over 3,150,000 ordinary 
shares (equivalent to 3.01% of the ordinary shares) in London Forfaiting PLC 
("LFC") at prices between 29p-29.5p. The Company ceased purchases when it 
decided it might wish to become a potential offerer.

The Company is now in discussions with the Board of LFC which may or may not 
lead to an offer for LFC and a further announcement will be made as soon as is 
practicable.

This announcement, for which Resurge PLC is responsible, has been approved by 
ARM Corporate Finance Limited for the purposes of Section 21 of the Financial 
Services and Markets Act 2000.
