Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for 41,557 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each to be admitted to trading on
the Official List. These shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of
options by employees.

These shares will rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares and dealings are
expected to commence in the new ordinary shares at 8.00am on 7 October 2003.
