                      Half Year Period End Trading Update



VEGA Group PLC, the consulting and technology company ("VEGA"), today  announces
another period of continued progress in trading for the six months to 31 October
2003.



Revenue growth has been achieved in our core markets of Space, Defence and
Public Sector. Trading profit is up on the same period last year. We are pleased
to announce this performance is consistent with the Group achieving full year
market expectations.



The results for the six months to 31 October 2003 are expected to be announced
on 10 December 2003.
