M&G Equity Investment Trust P.L.C. (M&G EIT) announces that it has today been
informed that Prudential plc and certain of its subsidiaries are interested in
106,220,485 M&G EIT Income shares representing 59.99% of the issued capital of
Income shares. 104,890,088 of the said shares are held on behalf of M&G PEP and
ISA account holders.
