AGM Statement
In the financial year to June 2003, Isotron plc, whose principal business is
contract sterilisation of medical products, reported a good second half year
with growth in both volumes and margins. The board expects the group to make
further progress in the current financial year and is pleased to report it has
met its financial objectives for the first quarter.
As previously announced, Colin Clive retires from the Board at the conclusion of
the AGM today, after 20 years as Chairman of Isotron, since its formation in
1983. Jonathan Azis, Vice Chairman of Isotron, takes over as Chairman.
Commenting, John Barker, Chief Executive, said:
"The Board would like to thank Colin for the tremendous contribution he has made
to the group. Colin has been our Chairman for 20 years, over which time profits
have increased substantially as the group has grown from a small domestic
business to being the multinational group it is today."
Commenting, Colin Clive, Chairman said:
"After being Chairman of Isotron since it was formed 20 years ago, I am
delighted to be handing over to Jonathan Azis at a time when the group is making
