                   BAXTER DELISTS FROM LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

DEERFIELD, Ill., November 18, 2003 - The Board of Directors of Baxter
International Inc. has elected to delist the company's stock from the London
Stock Exchange effective December 17, 2003, due to the lack of trading volume
over an extended period of time. The primary listing for Baxter's common stock
remains on the New York Stock Exchange.
