HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PLC (the "Company")

ADDITIONAL LISTING and BLOCKLISTING

Pursuant to the exercise of options over 10,000 ordinary shares of 5p each
("Shares") under the Company's Executive Share Option Scheme, application has
been made to the UK Listing Authority for 10,000 Shares to be admitted to the
Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for these Shares to be admitted
to trading.

Application has also been made for the blocklisting of 462,000 Shares
representing options held under the following schemes:

UK Executive Share Option Scheme   334,500 Shares
US Stock Option Plan               127,500 Shares

The 472,000 Shares will, upon issue, rank pari passu with the existing issued
shares of the Company and dealings are expected to commence on Thursday, 27
November 2003.
