Director Shareholding



The Company was informed today that John Stansfield, finance director of Hornby,
exercised options over 15,844 ordinary shares of 5p each in the capital of the
Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 223p per Ordinary Share on 27 November
2003. Of the options exercised, Mr Stansfield has today sold 10,000 Ordinary
Shares at a price of 1100p per Ordinary Share. As a result of these
transactions, Mr Stansfield's beneficial interest has increased to 8,000
Ordinary Shares representing 0.11 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.
