APPLICATION FOR LISTING OF CONSIDERATION SHARES

 

Application has been made for admission to the Official List of the London
Stock Exchange of 17,289,960 ordinary shares of ZAR0.50 in the Company (which
has a secondary listing in London and its primary listing in Johannesburg)
which have been issued and allotted by the company. Of the 17,289,960 ordinary
shares in the Company 17,250,000 were issued for cash and 39,960 were issued in
respect of the GF Management Incentive Scheme. It is expected that such
admission will become effective and that dealings in those shares will commence
in London on 19 December 2003.
